Giving screenwriters the resources, tools and inspiration to make it happen
Any Possibility is designed to give your creative genius the guidance it needs in order to operate like a business. Writing is an incredibly personal process. So while you go at it from the heart, I want to provide you with the tools, information and motivation to establish a strong career.
AP is all about creating a strategy and plan of action—not just to write, but to network, market, and inform yourself of every and any possibility.
first and foremost
YOU CAN DO THIS!
I want to help you be proactive in the pursuit of your goals and create confidence through action. We all struggle with self-doubt, motivation and putting words onto the page. By building a plan of action, you’ll keep moving forward.
YOUR DREAMS ARE IMPORTANT.
You’re here because you’re a writer. You breathe life into ideas and share them. You’ve picked a universal outlet in a very specific medium – screenwriting. AP helps you take your stories seriously and follow through on your goals. The world needs great writers. That’s you!
Luck is being prepared for when opportunity presents itself. By creating a plan of action, you’re going to be so freakin’ prepared that you will create opportunity, making you one lucky duck and/or human. If you put in the work, you’ll make it happen. Writing is not a piece of cake, but it is sustenance for our souls.
Hey there! My name is Sam, and I started Any Possibility to build a community of writers who act with passion and purpose. I hope you become a part of it.
After college, I moved to LA to be in the hub of all things entertainment. While my university prepped me with amazing production and writing skills, I didn’t come out of it having a plan of action for “real world” application.
Through blind trial and error, I ended up in the assistant grind for three years, which was a completely valuable and completely exhausting experience. Ten to twelve hour days working in representation were leaving me creatively drained, and my writing became stagnant.
I chose to step out and try something new. Being an assistant helped me gain access to “insider” insight and grow a great network of people, most of whom wrote on the side. Networking made it possible for me to get work as a script reader, and after reading hundreds of scripts a year, I’ve become a better writer.
I started AP as a resource to help you create clear and actionable goals.
I think the more information you have from the get-go heightens your chances of making well-informed decisions. It’s like the phrase – instead of working harder, work smarter – because you can be working incredibly hard but still banging your head into a wall for lack of progress.
I get it. I totally do. That’s why I think we have a lot to learn from each other. If you put in the work, I’ll make sure you have the tools to make it happen.
